Lovisa Hamrin is going to share her thoughts on «Future Leaders: How Women Are Transforming Business and Academia». The purpose of the Lecture Series – Leadership in the Future of Work is to inspire current and future leaders to push forward people innovation by applying novel insights to identify, test, and scale solutions to ensure that people remain at the heart of the future of work.

Lovisa Hamrin is the owner and chairwoman of Herenco, a large Swedish family-owned business group. Lovisa took over as CEO of Herenco in 2007, succeeding her father. Herenco operates in various sectors, including media, medtech, packaging, and industrial solutions. In addition to her role at Herenco, she holds prominent positions in other companies, such as director roles at Nolato AB and Lyko Group AB.
Educated at the Stockholm School of Economics, Lovisa also has a background in finance, having worked at Schibsted, a Norwegian media group, before joining the family business. She has significantly influenced the company’s expansion and strategic direction since her leadership.
Lovisa Hamrin's leadership at Herenco has had a notable influence on shaping the future of work, particularly in Sweden's industrial and media sectors. She has steered Herenco toward embracing sustainability, inclusion, innovation, and digital transformation, which are crucial for the evolving workplace. Lovisa is in the top ten of the annual ranking of the 100 most influential business leaders in Sweden. (Ranking made annually by "Affärsvärlden" Swedish version of Business Week).
